Yes. There are no hidden fees, sales pitches, or obligations. It is a completely free, hands-on service.

How are nominees selected?

I review nominations at the end of each quarter and select one home, based on local proximity and immediate need.

Are the nominations public?

All nominations are strictly confidential. I will never post photos or stories of the recipient on social media without explicit, written permission from the individual and their family.

My Mission

At Claire Lori Design, my mission is deeply rooted in kindness.

I firmly believe that a peaceful, safe, and organised home should be accessible to everyone in our community. Maintaining a home can become incredibly overwhelming with age or changing physical needs.

That’s why I dedicate one session every quarter to providing my

'Create my Calm' decluttering, organising, and spatial design service completely free of charge to a local elderly resident in our neighbourhood.

When you work with me, you are supporting a business that actively pours love back into Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, and the surrounding Surrey community.

This initiative is dedicated to my grandmother, Sylvia, who is 97 years old, and lives in South Africa.

She is a strong, smart, funny & beautiful woman,

who I am privilaged to call my Gran.

I miss her dearly & love her with all my heart.

To ensure this initiative reaches those in our local community who need it most, please review the following criteria before submitting a nomination:

Age & Residency: The nominee must be 60 years or older and currently living as a single occupant in their primary residence within Walton-on-Thames, Hersham, or Weybridge.

Independent living: The service is designed for individuals living independently in their own homes or private rentals, rather than assisted care facilities.

Openness to Change: The nominee must be aware of the nomination, willing to welcome me into their home, and comfortable with gently letting go of unneeded physical items to improve their living space.

Safety & Mobility Focus: Priority is given to individuals where physical clutter, layout friction, or organisational obstacles are directly impacting their daily mobility, home safety, or mental well-being.

Zero Commercial Obligation: This is a 100% free community initiative with no hidden costs, no sales follow-ups, and no required social media exposure.
